Our strategy is to continuously place value on employee training and development and believe this leads to a skilled and committed workforce. In our opinion training and development is a hallmark of good management and we are proud to be part of the top 1% of accredited UK organisations to have achieved Investors in People PLATINUM accreditation.
Mulalley has a structured and flexible approach to training and development which adapts to our constantly changing and evolving business needs whilst ensuring our employees get the best learning, training and development to do their job and progress within the company.
Achievement of memberships gives our employees a globally recognised professional status of which we are extremely proud to support. We work in partnership with CIOB (Chartered Institute of Building) and the CITB (Construction Industry Training Board) and other established and qualified training organisations to complement our structured training processes and support personal professional development.
For over 40 years, Mulalley has undertaken a large number of construction and regeneration schemes and as a result of this we appreciate that regeneration is not just a matter of bricks and mortar it is also one of individuals and communities.
Ensuring that we have a good impact on the communities we work in is very important to us. We therefore continuously strive to look at how we can actively engage with local businesses and support local training and employment initiatives.
To support communities we create local job opportunities wherever possible ensuring that our workforce reflects and is inclusive of the communities we are working in. Our aim is to inspire and encourage our subcontractors and suppliers in their own efforts to recruit and teach skills so collectively we can make a positive difference.
Our Management Trainee Scheme is the ideal foundation to start a career whilst also studying for a professional qualification. All our trainees study on a day release basis whilst getting the opportunity to be ‘hands on’ within a project team.
We are continuously looking for hard working ambitious young people who are keen to earn whilst they learn and be part of our future.
A large part of our focus is on introducing the next generation into the construction industry by providing learning opportunities through work experience and apprenticeships. Offering classroom learning along with practical experience gained by working on site, provides key skills and builds confidence which can have a positive impact in career development and future job prospects.
Whether you are a student, school leaver or graduate Mulalley have many opportunities for you to join our team and realise your ambitions.
