Evenlode was a design and build scheme which was proposed to determine if estate blocks (built originally in the 1960’s) could be refurbished to a vision of new build ensuring current regulations were met. The initial concept and designs were drawn by Gerardine and Wayne Hemingway from Hemingway Design. This newly regenerated estate comprises of seven blocks all linked by suspended walkways and open staircases.
