This week Mulalley are partnering with youth coaching and training provider Serious About Youth (SAY), on a week-long confidence and employability skills programme with 24 young people from Islington Council, Peabody, London Borough of Camden, Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea, Hammersmith & Fulham Council, A2Dominion Group and Notting Hill Genesis.
The programme is being hosted at London Borough of Camden's Euston Skills Centre and commenced Monday with a presentation by Mulalley Architect and Design and Build Coordinator Ivan Bozhilov, followed up by a site visit to our Queensland Road site and Wednesday another presentation by Design and Compliance Manager and Architect Myrta Fioretto.
Thursday a panel of volunteers were invited to listen to business pitches from the youth partners who had all created construction companies and projects relating to a new build construction project. The presentations were absolutely amazing, with the students really throwing themselves into the scenario with some truly impressive design ideas and presentations.
A huge thank you to Sean Robinson, Alessia Zazzi Chloe Williams & Anil Singh from Camden and Islington for jumping in as panel judges, doing a fantastic job with feedback and advice.
