Construction Youth Trust Activities - Robert Clack School

Mulalley’s social value team and volunteers have been busy this month, supporting our partner Construction Youth Trust (CYT) with their youth engagement activities in Barking and Dagenham. Amber Perrier and Ben Daly supported four days of CV Masterclass Sessions at Jo Richardson School, Sydney Russell School and Robert Clack School. There was an added joy for Ben Daly at the event with Robert Clack School, as he is an ex-pupil. Student feedback was really positive with comments including: “I really enjoyed hearing about the guest’s experience when taking part in interviews from both a interviewee and employer.” “Hearing from the visitors; they gave me a clear idea of the industry.” “They both helped me consider career options and explained what they entailed, I particularly enjoyed hearing Ben’s career journey since leaving the school.”

Wendy Heller from CYT said: “I’m so grateful for the continued support of Mulalley personnel in the delivery of coaching programme sessions in Barking and Dagenham. Ben and Amber, you’ve been tremendous. The young people appreciate your empathy, passion and generosity. Thank you so much for everything you do.”

John Moore, Mulalley New Build Division Managing Director said: “We are proud to be afforded the opportunity to continue to be involved with the CYT programme considering Ben went to Robert Clack and was in the exact same shoes as these students at that age. A great initiative for pupils looking to start a career in construction.”

Mulalley is currently working in Barking and Dagenham delivering two new build developments at Oxlow Lane and Woodward Road for Be First Regeneration Limited.
