Mulalley donates to Newlon Hardship and Emergency Fund

As part of our social value commitments for Newlon Housing Trust, Mulalley recently made a donation of £5,500 to the Newlon Hardship and Emergency Fund. The money will be used to support struggling or vulnerable Newlon residents, by providing funding for furniture, food and fuel vouchers, school uniforms and short-term cash loans for emergencies.

Operations Manager Andre Culleton and Operations Director Nick Price were joined by Head Of Social Value Julian Sanz to present a cheque. Accepting the funds on behalf of Newlon were Head Of Communities Miles Lanham and Resident Board Member Blossom Shakespeare

Miles Lanham said: “A very big thank you to Mulalley for this generous donation, these funds will help many vulnerable residents who are in need of some support.”

Nick Price said “Mulalley is very aware of the hardships many people find themselves in at the moment, we are proud to make this donation and support the great work being done by Newlon Housing Trust.”

Mulalley is currently carrying out External Wall Remediation Works to Newlon Tower in Islington. Mulalley is also working on Monument Way on the construction of 54 units comprising 3 blocks with associated infrastructure and external works.
