The Elutec Academy in Dagenham hosted a Sixth Form Open Evening/Future Destinations event on Thursday 25th November 2022, which was supported and attended by Mulalley staff.

The teams from Oxlow Lane and Woodward Road that we are currently working in the local Borough delivering those schemes engaged with several young people, providing advice into professional construction roles, and speaking about apprenticeships.

Olivia McLaughlin from Elutec said: “I would like to say a big thank you to you and your team for the amount of effort and engagement you all put into your stalls and speaking to our students. I appreciate you all coming to the event even when the weather was not on our side. We have had some great feedback from both students and staff and students have said they left feeling inspired.”

Mulalley Director George Legg said: “It was great speaking to many young people, who are keen in considering taking a career in construction. We were asked many questions which showed a real interest to work and have a career in construction”.

Elutec is an academy of design and engineering for young people aged 14-19 in East London and Essex who are interested in Engineering, Design, Science, Maths and Technology.

Mulalley is currently working in Barking and Dagenham delivering two new build developments at Oxlow Lane and Woodward Road for BeFirst.
