Mulalley recently attended the Tower Hamlets Construction Jobs Fair 2021. The well-attended event for Tower Hamlets residents was delivered on behalf of the Tower Hamlets New Town Hall Project and WorkPath in partnership with Bouygues UK.
Residents could find out about paid work placements, jobs and apprenticeships, get advice and support on perfecting their CV and get advice through taster sessions.
Motin Uz-Zaman, Deputy Mayor and Cabinet Member for Economic Growth and Skills in Tower Hamlets, took the time to visit our stand and meet our staff, as well as some of the residents.
Lisa Jennings, Senior Employment and Training Manager at Mulalley said: “It was great to talk to Tower Hamlets residents, as well as meeting up with some of the organisations we work with, including Women in Construction and K10. We spoke to several local residents who were interested in applying for our Traffic Marshall, Welfare Labourer and RLO roles.
Anna Walterskotter, Project Manager for Women into Construction said: “It was great to be amongst so many old and new partners at the Job Fair organised by WorkPath. .... Lovely to also meet some of our WiC women in person.”
