Mulalley took part in Work Week – an education programme organised by 15Billion Education Business Partnership, held at Southwood Primary School in Dagenham.
Throughout Work Week, year 5 children became architects and designed their own buildings and made scale models.
Members of Mulalley’s Architectural and Design and Build Teams attended on the final day to listen to the children’s ideas, give supportive feedback and choose winners.
Courtney Green, Projects Officer at 15billion-ebp said: “We would like to say a big thank you for volunteering for us at Southwood Primary School! The children had a great time and loved that you came in to help teach them. Having professionals attend the events makes the workshops extra special for the children.”
Mulalley New Build Managing Director John Moore said: “The children got to practice teamwork, communication and presentation skills whilst learning about architecture and the construction industry. We were very pleased to be able to come along and share our feedback on their models and encourage their enthusiasm.”
