Mulalley recently gave Dominika Szpacynsha, a Year 12 student from Eastbrook Comprehensive School, a construction management shadowing work experience placement at their Barking and Dagenham Fire Risk Improvements site.

Supported and guided by the team on site, Dominika attained a good level of understanding of the work that is undertaken. She completed daily diaries and a final evaluation form so she could note what she had learned.

Useful aspects gained from this work experience that Dominika commented on were visiting sites, attending meetings and gaining skills in problem solving.

Mulalley Operations Director Bruce Benson said: “Mulalley is always keen to provide work experience for local young people in the areas where we work. It gives them confidence and skills that they can hopefully build on in their search for employment.”

Mulalley is currently working with the London Borough of Barking and Dagenham on a variety of projects including Fire Risk Improvements, residential conversions and new build housing projects on the Leys Phase 2, Ilchester Road and North Street.
