Mulalley was pleased to attend a Mock Interview Programme held at Eastbury Secondary School in Barking in March. The event was to support career development by offering students interview experience with an employer.
Year 10 students were asked to choose a specific industry sector they were interested in and Lisa Jennings, Mulalley’s Employment and Training Manager along with James Carruthers, Associate Director interviewed the students who expressed an interest in construction. The Mulalley team then provided employer feedback on a variety of areas such as communication, enthusiasm and body language in order to highlight any areas for development.
Stuart Gander from Eastbury thanked Mulalley for giving up their time to help interview the students.
Mulalley Operations Director John Moore said: “I hope that the students found the day useful. Mulalley is committed to providing training and local employment advice and support on the areas in which we work.”
Having completed phase one of the Leys Regeneration Project last year, works are now well underway on the second phase which will provide an additional 69 homes for the London Borough of Barking and Dagenham. Mulalley is also currently working on Ilchester Road and North Street, providing traditionally built affordable houses to rent.
