Women in Business

Mulalley recently took part in ‘Women in Business’, an event that combined a networking masterclass with a careers carousel. Run by Inspire! Education Business Partnership, the programme took place in BSix Sixth Form College, Clapton.

Attending from Mulalley was Cristina Chitimus, Contracts Manager on the Bridge House development, and Emma Dewey, Sustainability Manager. They spoke to students about their own roles within the construction industry and gave the pupils advice on future learning and work options.

Cristina said: “It was good to see that we could boost the confidence of young women who do not know yet what career path to choose, and encourage them to get in touch should they want to join the construction industry.”

Lucy Harrison at Inspire! said: “It was a big success and we have received really positive feedback from BSix College staff and students. Thank you for taking part in the day and showing the female students the wide range of careers that are open to them.”

Mulalley is currently working for the London Borough of Hackney on Bridge House, a design and build development of 70 apartments and 5 maisonettes across 3 residential blocks.
