Mulalley recently attended two ‘Construct With Us’ events in Enfield, giving students a unique opportunity to meet and interact with construction companies.
Held at the Nightingale Academy and Wilbury Primary School, Mulalley staff played ‘Eco Action Top Trumps’ with a selection of primary and secondary school children, with the aim of educating, inspiring and motivating everyone to take personal action to reduce their environmental impact.
The final part of the day was open to the public to talk about apprenticeships, training and careers in the construction industry.
Mulalley Operations Director Bruce Benson said: “It was great to meet local residents at the ‘Construct With Us’ events. The students thoroughly enjoyed playing the Eco Trumps game and learned that even small changes, such as turning off the tap whilst they clean their teeth, can save energy and minimise their impact on the environment.”
Mulalley is currently working on a variety of projects in partnership with Enfield Council including the regeneration of the Ladderswood Estate in New Southgate, and the external refurbishment of seventeen blocks on Lytchet Way.
