Mulalley was honoured to receive the award for Outstanding Collaboration at the recent PPC/TPC Awards 2015. The award recognised the collaborative efforts of the complete supply chain delivering Homes for Haringey’s decent homes contract. This four year contract involves both internal and external refurbishment of various blocks of flats and street properties in Haringey in partnership with Homes for Haringey.
This contract takes supply chain engagement to a new level as Mulalley are one of a handful of UK companies piloting the Considerate Constructors Scheme’s new Ultra Site initiative. In the first 18 months of the contract over 1000 kitchens and bathrooms have been completed. The integrated project teams have worked to maximise opportunities for employment and training for the local community and deliver demonstrable added social value.
Thomas Farrell, Strategic Manager Decent Homes, Homes for Haringey said: “Homes for Haringey, as the client, take great pleasure in seeing true collaborative and collective working and partnering come to fruition through the PPC2000 and an integrated supply chain”
Mulalley Operations Director Bruce Benson said: “We are very proud to win this award recognising our outstanding collaborative efforts for our work in Haringey. Working together brings many benefits, not just to the community and the environment, but to those actually working on sites, the various companies involved as well as the client.”
