Mulalley is the first construction company to donate to the new Construction Industry Helpline

Mulalley has generously donated £5,000 to the Construction Industry Helpline, a new initiative launched by the Considerate Constructors Scheme.

The Construction Industry Helpline provides 24/7 support to the construction industry’s workforce and their families on a range of topics including finance, depression, occupational health and wellbeing, illness and bereavement.

Bruce Benson, Operations Director of Mulalley said: “Mulalley is delighted to be the first company to support this unique helpline. We do hope that the rest of the industry recognises, as we did, the need to support our workforce in times of need as we feel sure the industry will benefit greatly from this very special initiative.”

Edward Hardy, Chief Executive of The Considerate Constructors Scheme said: “This is a very generous donation by Mulalley and will ensure that the Construction Industry Helpline can continue its important work providing advice and support to the construction workforce. The Helpline gets no public funding so we’re extremely grateful and would encourage other companies to consider giving to this very worthy cause.”

The new helpline is funded by the Lighthouse Club, donations from individuals, businesses and organisations in the construction industry and through the purchase of wristbands and posters.
