Head of Health & Safety

Location: Head Office – Woodford Green, Essex

Salary: Competitive, based on experience

Employment Type: Full-Time, Permanent

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Head of Health & Safety to lead and shape our safety agenda across a diverse portfolio of construction, refurbishment and new build projects. This is a senior leadership role with real influence, responsible for driving high standards and embedding a proactive, zero-harm culture across the business.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the development and implementation of the company’s Health & Safety strategy

• Promote a strong, positive safety culture across all projects and teams

• Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation and industry best practice

• Provide expert guidance to senior leadership and operational teams

• Monitor performance, drive continuous improvement, and manage risk effectively

About you

• A Chartered Member of IOSH (CMIOSH)

• Proven experience in a senior Health & Safety leadership role within construction

• Strong knowledge of UK Health & Safety legislation

• A confident communicator with the ability to influence at all levels

• A strategic thinker with a hands-on approach
