The Queens Award for Enterprise
In 2004, Mulalley was honoured by the Queen for helping to improve the lives of people in social housing. Mulalley was presented with The Queen’s Award for Enterprise for its innovative Resident Liaison Management System. Mulalley developed customer-friendly methods of carrying out kitchen and bathroom refurbishment without turning the lives of the residents upside down.
Quality In Construction
The Quality in Construction Awards, supported by Construction News, serve to highlight excellence in the industry and recognise the ambition, skill and management of construction teams. The awards have the backing of the Department of Trade and Industry and Constructing Excellence.
In 2005 Mulalley won the category ‘Management and Process Innovation’. This award was designed to highlight ‘exceptional and innovative management strategies or construction techniques to improve efficiencies’, and our multiple-award winning Resident Liaison Management Process was again applauded.
Mulalley had previously won a Quality in Construction award in 2003 for our work on the St Mary's Estate, Hackney, East London. Mulalley won the Small Project (less than £5 Million) Award, in a category that consistently received more entries than most.
