Mulalley has been awarded a design and build contract for Newlon Housing Trust as part of the wider Tottenham Hale Regeneration scheme.
Situated along Fairbanks Road in Tottenham, Monument Way is being built on a former local authority brownfield site on the edge of an existing estate. Newlon are providing 54 affordable rent homes, with the provision of new landscaping. The development will be on land between the existing Chestnut Estate and Monument Way. The proposal is to realign Fairbanks Road and build three housing blocks north of the road. A green buffer between Fairbanks Road and Monument Way would be provided.
Angela Wint, Senior Project Manager at Newlon HT said: “Newlon are delighted to be working with Mulalley on this exciting project in Haringey to provide much needed affordable homes for rent, and much needed improvement to the environment along Monument Way.”
John Moore, Mulalley New Build Managing Director said: ”We are delighted to have secured our first New Build project with Newlon and we look forward to working in partnership with them in creating these much needed new high quality affordable homes in Haringey.
