Mulalley’s 2016 carbon footprint results show a significant reduction in emissions exceeding all set targets. These latest results show a 24.2% reduction based on turnover and 30.3% reduction based on employee numbers. For the past four years, Mulalley have been working with Carbon Footprint Limited in measuring, monitoring, managing and reducing its carbon footprint.

Mulalley originally started doing this to measure its impact on the environment and establish a baseline. Year on year targets were set to reduce emissions and a number of initiatives were put in place to achieve set goals.

Carbon Footprint’s Director, Dr Wendy Buckley said “Mulalley are leaders in the field and have achieved some of the best reductions we’ve seen in a while”.

Mulalley’s Director, Eamon O’Malley said “We are very pleased with these results, which confirm our efforts are being rewarded with a demonstrable reduction in our carbon emissions, which not only make good business sense, but also help towards a low carbon built environment”.

Mulalley is now seeking to become a carbon neutral company and maintain reducing their business carbon emissions.
